Mile High Paddle Party Details

Mile High Paddle Party is where live music meets life on the water. Paddle out to a live DJ set, connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts, and celebrate Colorado's paddle community at Cherry Creek Reservoir. Bring your own paddleboard or kayak at no cost, or rent one from us, and experience a summer event designed to give back to the people who make our paddle community so special.

This event is proudly sponsored by Island Lake Marine, your destination for boat and jet ski rentals at Cherry Creek Reservoir.

Event Layout

  • Check In: Rental guests will meet our team at the marina to check in, get fitted with life jackets, paddles, and equipment, and receive a brief safety orientation.
  • Paddle Out: Once everyone is ready, you'll paddle from the marina to the concert area on Cherry Creek Reservoir.
  • Live Music: Enjoy 3 hours of live music from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM as a DJ performs from a wakesurf boat.
  • Paddle Back: After the music wraps up, paddle back to the marina and return your equipment.

  • Your favorite beverages (No glass containers, please.)

Rocky Mountain Paddleboard requires 72 hours’ notice to receive a full refund for all events.

In the case of inclement weather, Rocky Mountain Paddleboard will issue a digital gift card for the full amount of your purchase. These gift cards expire two seasons after issuance and are valid at any RMP location.

Unfortunately, RMP is unable to issue refunds for no-call/no-show reservations.

Reservations not claimed 30 minutes after the scheduled start time will be considered forfeited.
