The seasonal staff is the face, heart and soul RMP. Making up the majority of staff, this team is broadly responsible for how the company is perceived by its customer base. Seasonal Crew members must have an understanding of paddlesports, water safety as well as company procedures and best practices. This position is incredibly diverse, requiring excellent customer service skills, tremendous physical stamina, outstanding salesmanship and technology skills. Although provided with tools and knowledge to perform their jobs, each member of the seasonal crew is expected to independently seek knowledge of paddlesports, the parks in which they work and the city in which they are situated. Strong multitasking and prioritization skills are absolutely necessary in order to be successful as an RMP Crew Member. A strong work ethic coupled with coachability is also advantageous to this position. All seasonal staff must epitomize RMP company culture and values.
Day to day a Crew member is facilitating rentals. Crew members rotate through stations through out the day helping folks check in, get geared up and safely get on and off the water! But there is so much more to the job including: full moon paddles, staff river trips, staff appreciation events, and all the perks that working at the coolest outdoor company in Colorado could offer. We hope you can become an expert with us this summer!
